2011 August 9

For parents, strollers play a very helpful role in ensuring the kid’s safety and comfort as well as the parent’s convenience. As strollers provide its purpose of protecting the child, different accessories are also available to make the strolling easier and more fun!

Here is the must have stroller accessory list:

• Strap

Straps are very helpful in controlling the stroller. When a strap connects your wrist to the stroller, your hands might lose grip but your wrist will still take hold of the stroller. A strap may just be an accessory, but it is actually a very helpful one.

• Canopy

A canopy protects the child from direct sunlight and from UV rays. Without this, the child might get sunburns and skin irritations. What you need to make sure is that the canopy can block the sun’s rays from different angles.

• Rain cover

Rain covers should be able to give the child complete protection from the rain. Make sure that the rain cover fully prevents rain from getting inside the stroller’s passenger seat.

• Parasol A parasol also protects the child from the sun. The main difference of a parasol from a sun canopy is that it looks more fashionable. It looks like an umbrella and comes in different styles and colours.

• Cup holder A stroller cup holder is perfect for people who jog or do walking exercises with their kid. It gives you an accessible place for easy taking and putting of a drinking bottle.

• Mosquito net A mosquito net protects the child from bugs, mosquitoes, and other insects. Just make sure that it gives complete protection and that there is no way for insects to reach the kid.

These stroller accessories may go together with the stroller upon purchase or may be sold separately. Despite the fact that stroller with no accessory is enough to serve its purpose, having these accessories will surely provide more comfort and safety to the baby and the carrier. So when you get a stroller, you might as well consider these accessories!
