Recommendations:
This is mostly recommended for people from the urban areas and frequent travelers. Compared to other strollers of the similar type, it can be a little more expensive but it can offer a smooth ride compared to others. If there are common negative feedbacks about this stroller, it would be because the seat is not reclining, and there is no weather protection.
To give you the most reliable advice possible, here are some testimonials by people who experienced using the Maclaren Volo Stroller:
By Ann:
We bought this for our 4 yr old. We needed something light and easy to handle for Disney vacations and day trips. He does not need a stroller much anymore. We needed something that can hold a higher weight. At 4 1/2 he is 46 pounds and tall. This folds and unfolds with one hand. Then easily slip the carry strap onto the shoulder. Perfect for easily getting on/off the Disney buses. It is very lightweight. I would not buy this for a smaller child needing more from a stroller. But for an older child needing only some sit down time at Disney it is perfect. Plus it was cheaper then renting a stroller at Disney.
Pros:
-very light
-easy to fold/unfold
-easy to handle
-can carry a child up to 55 pounds, one of the only ones I found
-has a carry strapCons:
-back does not adjust which is not necessarily a con in itself but my very tall son is put into an odd sort of half recline position and the top of the seat hits him at the base of the neck. His head flops backwards. He has to hold his head up or sit forward. The sun cover velcros to the seat which then holds the seat up more and gives his head somewhere to rest. We cannot use this without the sun cover.
-no cup holder so I bought one to put on this

This stroller is perfect for travel. It’s lightweight and folds up easily plus has a shoulder strap for carrying. It’s also great for tall people. I’m 6′ and my husband’s 6′2″ and we didn’t have to hunch over! It also has excellent one-handed steering. I like that the max weight goes to 55 lbs. as I have a tall/big 3-year-old. I highly recommend it!

Bought this stroller to use with my granddaughter. It’s perfect for any trip! Easy for us grandparents to use. It is VERY easy to put up and take down. She seems very happy to ride in it. She doesn’t seem to need for it to recline. She is 12 months old, and 22 lbs. I love the rain cover that came with it. My daughter borrowed it, and she wants one. She has one of the quad systems, and prefers mine.
