What Is The Best Stroller For You

2011 August 19

Well as parents, we want our babies to be comfortable in riding a stroller. But then, we would also want convenience in pushing and carrying these strollers. So find the best stroller that would be perfect for your routine and not give you hassles. The best stroller for you is the one that suits your needs. So which one suits your needs? Consider these factors:

For Physically Active / Health Conscious parents

For parents who are into active physical activities, we have to find ways on how to maintain our physical fitness routines but not sacrificing our time for our kids. This is why a jogging stroller is the best option for you. A jogging stroller is usually used by parents who want to jog or do some brisk walks while strolling with their babies so as to combine their fitness session with quality time with their kids.

A jogging stroller usually has a foot operated brake, a lockable and swiveling front wheel, and wrist straps. All these contribute to making the baby as safe as possible.

For Travelling / Busy Parents

For families who go from one town to another, it might be hard to store a big stroller inside a vehicle. This is why umbrella strollers are the best options for you. Umbrella strollers are lightweight, perfect for families who are on-the-go for trips. Also, umbrella strollers are easy to fold, so it would not bring much hassle for car storage. This type of stroller is also recommended for parents who bring their kids when they go downtown for groceries, shopping, etc. This stroller is mostly recommended for children older than six months because its features may not be good for babies who do not have full control of their reflexes. Also, the seat of an umbrella stroller usually does not fully recline. This means that it might not be comfortable for an infant. But for a kid who can sit, this one is perfect for strolling.

For Transportation

For people who have cars, a travel system stroller is a perfect choice. It consists of a stroller, an infant car seat, and a car seat base. With this stroller, you would be able to transfer a sleeping baby from the stroller to the car seat without disturbing him, perfect for infants. When the baby is already able to sit up alone, you can just remove the car seat.

For rough roads

If you live in an area where roads are not smooth, or if you plan to do some nature tripping, then an all terrain stroller is for you. An all terrain stroller offers smooth ride and smooth push even in uneven road surfaces. Some strollers of this kind can accommodate heavier passengers so it is more durable than traditional strollers.
For twins / siblings

When you got more than one child, you would not want to carry or push two strollers. This is why there are double strollers. With this stroller type, you would get to push two babies at once. Here are the kinds of multi-seating strollers:

  • Tandem

Tandem strollers allow one child to sit behind the other. Some models also allow two children to face each other. There are also tandem double strollers that allows the child at the back to see the over the other child. The best benefit of a tandem double stroller is that it can actually fit through standard doorways.

  • Side by side

Side by side strollers allow the passengers to sit beside each other. Although this works best for passengers of the same weight to avoid imbalance, it is actually easier to push compared to a tandem double stroller. While many companies claim that their side by side double strollers fit through standard doorways, it will be better to test for yourself. Make sure that the stroller would fit doors and elevators.

The Ultimate Guide on Purchasing Strollers

2011 August 17

The best way to get the perfect stroller is to understand each and every factor that needs consideration. We should understand that strollers are not just mere pushing chairs, they can offer great convenience or supreme hassle depending on what stroller you get. So avoid regrets, consider these factors to get you buying the right stroller that will suit your every need:

1. Purpose

Of course the purpose of a stroller is for the baby’s ride. But as the carrier of the stroller, you have to determine what you are using the stroller for so you know the type of stroller that you have to get. You see there are various types of strollers, a jogging stroller for people who are active physically, an umbrella stroller which are usually light weight and easy fold, stroller travel systems which are made to be easily transformed into a car seat, and multiple seater strollers which are intended for more than one child. Actually there are various more types of strollers. This is why you should distinguish where you would use the stroller to know which stroller type is the one you need.

2. Stroller size

In determining which stroller size you prefer, you should also consider the stroller’s purpose. This is because sizes vary depending on stroller type. A stroller with heavier duty might weigh more than a stroller made for mere strolling. But usually, we want strollers that are light and easy to put in the car. So generally, what you need to do is to determine the type of stroller that you want and find the brand that offers the lightest stroller of that kind.

3. Budget

Set a specific amount of money that you intend to spend on strollers.  Strollers can go from $50 up to $500. The main differences of strollers when based on price could be durability, life span, and warranty. But then we should not base everything on its price. Not all high priced are the best, maybe you will just be paying for its name and not all low priced are the worst, maybe it’s just a marketing technique. So what you need to do is determine the stroller type, get the brand that offers you a good deal of a price. Also, check out some reviews and testimonials on stroller brands, they offer big help.

4. Your physical attributes

This particularly refers to your height. The best advice would be finding a stroller which handles are adjustable, or if not, then find a stroller which handles are steady but comfortable for you to push. This is the reason why you should have an idea on the strollers’ height because you would not want to slouch if you are too tall or walk on your soles when you are shorter.

5. Baby’s size

This is quite important for the babies’ safety. Make sure that the stroller’s weight capacity is perfect for your baby. Better yet, an allowance weight should be considered for more safety and also so that there would be room for the babies’ physical growth.

So as a whole, there are many more particular things to consider when buying a stroller. These are just the major ones. As you consider these aspects, the sub factors will just come along. In general, what we should opt for would be the babies’ safety and comfort, as well as our convenience as parents.

The Ultimate Guide For Expectant Mothers

2011 August 15

What do expectant moms need to secure?

Expectant moms usually have a mile of lists of the factors that they need to consider before giving birth, which is actually good. You would not want to miss a thing in making that moment in your life special. Here are the major things that you should give much consideration:

Cribs

Cribs are where babies spend most of their time until they are ready to transfer to a bed. This is why you should secure the safest crib for your baby. Also, you should set the crib in a safe location so that no accidents can happen. Avoid setting the crib near the window, near curtains, beside cords, or in general avoid things that babies or toddlers can hold on to. Especially for children who can already stand and walk by holding onto things, it might injure them if they pull things so hard that it can fall on them, or they might also fall out of the crib.

When choosing a baby crib, you should also make sure that the crib slats, or the interval between railings is not more than 2.3 inches. This is to avoid getting the baby’s body parts stuck in between the slats. Also, choose a crib which sides can drop for easy access in getting the baby. Crib bumpers can also help in making sure that your child’s legs and arms do not get tangled in the slats.

Types of cribs include:

  • Cradle

A cradle crib works best in newborn children. A cradle is very convenient to use because its sides are low. A cradle is designed in a way that it can be rocked back and forth. For this kind of crib that is steady, you can go for a bassinet crib.

  • Standard

This type of crib is the traditional one. At least one of its sides is made in a way that it can drop for the convenience in putting and getting the baby. This crib is quite simple and can be bought in cheaper costs compared to other cribs.

  • Round

The major advantage of this crib is that it can occupy lesser space than the usual cribs and it can actually fit into corners.  Also, crib manufacturers have various fashionable designs for this kind of strollers in the recent years. But the problem with this crib is that it can cost rather pricey.

  • Canopy

A canopy crib can come in the usual rectangular shape or in a round one. There is actually no big difference with a canopy crib and usual cribs. The only thing that differs is the design that presents a fairy tale look. Also, this kind of crib also costs higher than the usual.

  • Convertible

A convertible crib is an expensive kind of crib but assures savings in the long run. This crib can be converted from a crib, a toddler’s bed, up to a day bed. Meaning, the child can use it from birth up to the early teenage years. So although you have to drop a big amount of money in the present, a convertible crib will save you the money and effort that you would have to spend on changing beds.

  • Portable

A portable baby crib is usually cheaper and a little smaller than conventional cribs. It requires less space and can be easily folded. This is actually perfect for travel. But the only problem with this crib is that since its size is smaller than the usual, the child might outgrow it sooner.

Clothes

Expectant parents are always too excited to dress their kids. But before excitement controls your decision, here are some things that you need to consider in buying baby clothes:

  • Quantity of clothes

Do not buy too many newborn clothes since babies grow bigger quickly. Also, it would be hard to guess how big your baby is going to be when he/she comes out. So buy just about a few pieces before the baby arrives and just add a little more when the baby has already arrived.

  • Weather condition

Keep in mind the weather condition that is going to welcome your kid. If it is going to be a cold season, then buy baby clothes that can provide enough warmth for the baby. Remember, for newborns you have to focus more on comfort and little on style.

  • Shoes and socks

Shoes are not really necessary for babies, but they look better than socks when the baby is taken out for a walk or when you have visitors to look at the baby. But for socks, you have to make sure that they are easy to put on and taken off. The baby might be pained if you force to put on or take off the socks. Also, make sure that when you put the baby socks on, the socks are clean. The baby might chew on them.

  • Clothes style

For the clothing style, the simpler is actually the better. Clothes with fewer accessories mean less accidents and injuries. For clothes with buttons, pockets, etc, make sure that the baby would not lie on them, this might give them discomfort.

  • Used clothes

Used clothes or handed down clothes can also be considered. Considering the fact that babies grow bigger fast. So if you have an older child and have kept the old baby clothes, you might actually save a lot. Just make sure the used clothes you choose to give your kids is still in good condition and will not itch the new kid.

Strollers

Strollers should also be considered when expecting a new baby. it would be rather hard to carry the baby all the time. All you have to make sure is that the stroller you choose is safe enough for infants. And for more savings, you can choose one that will last long and can be used from infancy to toddlerhood.

Types of strollers include:

  • Travel system stroller

This stroller type includes a stroller, an infant car seat, and a car seat base. This is good for infants because you can transfer the baby from the stroller to the car seat without moving the baby, perfect for a sleeping kid.

  • Umbrella

An umbrella stroller is more suitable for bigger kids or for kids who can already sit up since it cannot support and give much comfort to newborns. But the main advantage of this is that it is easily folded and is perfect when going to malls and the likes.

  • All terrain

This stroller is heavier and sturdy. It can endure long strolls and can pass through rough roads. Although you might not want to walk your kids in rough terrains, this stroller offers to give the kid a smooth ride. It also usually has a shock support to lessen the vibrations felt by the passenger.

  • Jogging

A jogging stroller is the one commonly used by parents who jog or walk as a form of exercise and want to bring their kid along as they do so. This jogging stroller is perfect for babies who are already allowed to be taken out of the house for long periods of time.

  • Multiple seating

This one is perfect for twins, triplets or siblings. If you got a twin, then this kind of stroller will give you convenience. If you have another child whose age is not that far from the youngest one, you can use this stroller for both of them.

So these are the things that you need to consider when you are expecting a new baby. But there are actually more to this like milk, diaper, shampoos, body wash, baby bottles etc. But these things can vary from one kid to another. So it would be better if you consult the pediatrician for the best advice and brands for these needs.

Newborn Baby Strollers Buying Tips

2011 August 13

When buying baby strollers, the first things that come to the minds of parents would be; well we cannot deny the fact that convenience comes first by instinct, then safety, comfort, style, and price. It actually does not matter which comes first, what matters is all these get considered. As parents we all want the best for our child, so here is a guideline on choosing the best stroller for expectant parents:

CONVENIENCE

The most convenient stroller that you can get is the one that fits your way of life, or one that suits your child’s age. For infants, some stroller types may not be suitable because of safety features designed for older children. So first, consider your child’s age to come up with a list of stroller types to consider. Most favourable ones would be prams, travel system stroller, or basically any stroller brand which allows you to recline the passenger’s seat to a near flat position so you can provide your baby with utmost comfort.

Also, make sure that you as the carrier of the stroller are not hassled by the stroller’s physical appearance or dimensions. Find one that will fit the usual pathways and door ways that you usually walk into or planning to stroll in. Avoid heavy duty and big strollers if you live in areas with narrow sidewalks and alley ways. Remember, as much as you want the baby’s convenience, you should also consider yours. You would not want to end up carrying the child all day or get stressed due to the inconvenience brought by the stroller.

SAFETY

When giving consideration to safety, you should as well consider your child’s age. Some strollers are indeed designed to be safe for the passenger, but they might have been designed to be safe for older ones. Also, find strollers with safety harnesses. Most strollers these days include safety harnesses. What you should look after is how much safety the harness can give to your child. Make sure that it is tight enough to secure the baby yet maintaining the comfort needed by the child.

You should also check the shock absorbing capacity of the stroller. Make sure that it can prevent the baby from getting hurt even when passing uneven road surfaces. Brakes should also be tested as well as resistance to tipping.

COMFORT

When talking about comfort what needs to be considered is the seat. As much as possible we want an adjustable seat considering the fact that infants cannot sit up without back support. With an adjustable reclining seat, we can give back support for the baby providing a comfortable ride or a comfortable sleep.

Another thing to be considered under comfort is the capacity of the stroller to block vibrations. When passing on bumps or uneven floorings or roads, vibrations can give discomfort to the kid. It might also be hazardous to them. So generally, safety and comfort usually go together.

STYLE

Styles actually vary depending on one’s preference. But what is important is that you consider the comfort, safety, and convenience features before proceeding to the buying part. Never be deceived by the good looks of a stroller. The safer and more comfortable one is always better that the fashionable one.

PRICE

Stroller price can go from fifty dollars to five hundred dollars or more. The price can vary depending on style, brand, and many other factors. The best advice that we can give is that to never base your decision in the price. It is just not a reliable basis. Not all low priced strollers are bad, but we cannot as well be sure of its quality. And not all expensive strollers are the best, popular brands can be naturally expensive.

So what you need to do is check the stroller’s features and ponder on whether it has been priced properly or not. If you think that a stroller is a good one and has a reasonable cost then it deserves consideration. You can also set a specific budget for the stroller and find one that offers best quality for the money you prepared.

When you get to consider all these factors in buying a stroller for a newborn, you will be able to organize your preference and get the stroller that you won’t regret. Just keep in mind that low quality is never an option. Go for the best to avoid regret.

Baby Stroller Safety

2011 August 11

The reason we buy a stroller is that we want a place for our baby to stay in. Strollers are our partners in carrying the child so we can still have the option to do what we want to do, go where we want to go, at the same time spending quality time with our kid. But with this purpose of strollers, we also would not want to risk our child’s safety in exchange for convenience. So in considering baby stroller safety, here are some of the major things that you need to look into:

  • Brakes

Strollers usually have hand operated or foot operated brakes. This is to provide a safer and more comfortable way of stopping the stroller. When buying strollers, check the brakes if it works conveniently.

  • Shock absorber

When strolling around, you cannot avoid uneven road surfaces or rough roads. In this case, you should secure that your stroller absorbs shock to give the passenger both safety and comfort. You might pass through bumps, but if the stroller has efficient shock absorbers, the baby would feel no discomfort.

  • Safety harness

Safety harness is the main thing that keeps the baby in place. Find a stroller that offers optimum security for the child by making sure that the child could not sneak out from the stroller seat. The best safety harness you could get is a five point safety harness. It wraps the child around the waist, between the legs, and over the shoulders. This kind of safety harness will give the parents maximum peace of mind. For toddlers, a three point harness is also good enough. It wraps them around the waist and in between legs.

  • Canopy

A canopy will protect the child from the sun’s UV rays. Too much sunlight might cause rashes and sunburn to the kid’s delicate skin. What you should make sure is that the stroller’s canopy is big enough to cover the child wherever the angle of the sun might be. Most canopies are actually adjustable, meaning you can block the sunlight from all angles. Some strollers include a canopy. Some offers it as an accessory and is sold separately.

  • Rain cover

Rain covers are important. Rain can come when you least expect it. When choosing a stroller, make sure that the rain cover actually covers the passenger completely. Most stroller brands have great rain covers and works really well. Also, some brands include it and some sells it separately.

Baby’s safety is the number one priority. So for best decisions in buying baby strollers, read reviews online and search for recalls. After a good research, you’ll be able to get the best stroller you and your baby can enjoy!

Must-Have Stroller Accessory List

2011 August 9

For parents, strollers play a very helpful role in ensuring the kid’s safety and comfort as well as the parent’s convenience. As strollers provide its purpose of protecting the child, different accessories are also available to make the strolling easier and more fun!

Here is the must have stroller accessory list:

• Strap

Straps are very helpful in controlling the stroller. When a strap connects your wrist to the stroller, your hands might lose grip but your wrist will still take hold of the stroller. A strap may just be an accessory, but it is actually a very helpful one.

• Canopy

A canopy protects the child from direct sunlight and from UV rays. Without this, the child might get sunburns and skin irritations. What you need to make sure is that the canopy can block the sun’s rays from different angles.

• Rain cover

Rain covers should be able to give the child complete protection from the rain. Make sure that the rain cover fully prevents rain from getting inside the stroller’s passenger seat.

• Parasol A parasol also protects the child from the sun. The main difference of a parasol from a sun canopy is that it looks more fashionable. It looks like an umbrella and comes in different styles and colours.

• Cup holder A stroller cup holder is perfect for people who jog or do walking exercises with their kid. It gives you an accessible place for easy taking and putting of a drinking bottle.

• Mosquito net A mosquito net protects the child from bugs, mosquitoes, and other insects. Just make sure that it gives complete protection and that there is no way for insects to reach the kid.

These stroller accessories may go together with the stroller upon purchase or may be sold separately. Despite the fact that stroller with no accessory is enough to serve its purpose, having these accessories will surely provide more comfort and safety to the baby and the carrier. So when you get a stroller, you might as well consider these accessories!

As parents, we decide for the comfort of our babies. Since they cannot speak for themselves, we try our best to provide them with everything that we think is best for them. It is often hard to choose among the different brands of baby products. So it would be advisable to read reviews and compare different brands to help you come up with a definite decision. In this article I will share with you an honest review about one popular baby product, the Baby Jogger City Select. Here I will discuss the description of this product along with the background of its manufacturer, and also some actual testimonials to help you decide.

Baby Jogger City Select is a product by The Baby Jogger Company. The strollers made by Baby Jogger were intended to endure prolonged running and rough roads. But as always, no matter how good a product tries to become, not everyone will be convinced nor pleased 100 %. So here are some pros and cons based on actual customers’ testimonials:

Pros:

Baby Jogger City Select is a multi-functional stroller that allows you to customize the stroller itself depending on your needs. It begins with a single stroller but you can extend it from being single to double through its unique attachment techniques.  So if your babies increase from one to two, all you have to do is attach a second seat and you are all set to travel. Different accessories are available in connection to this product, which is why it claims to be useful from your birth until your babies are toddlers. Its seating arrangements reach up to sixteen combinations. So it targets growing families who seek convenient and durable strollers. You can also fold this stroller easily with its one-step procedure of folding.

Cons:

Baby Jogger City Select also has its negative side. Although it is very durable and can be easily mixed and matched with its different accessories, Baby Jogger does not sell the double conversion kit pieces without the purchase of the second seat. So, if you plan on using City Select double, you would have to buy the second seat kit.

To supply you with the information you need for your decision, here are actual testimonies submitted by people who were experienced using Baby Jogger City Select for themselves:

By: Monica Beland

“Pros’ : Versatile in so many positions.
If 1 child feels like walking or being toted in a baby carrier, you can just convert this into a single stroller and not have to push around a double stroller.
It is not obnoxiously big like other double strollers.
The snap ins are very easy compared to other strollers.
Sturdy frame
Folds compactly and seats are collapsable so they end up flat (I can fit everything into my Honda Civic with room to spare!)
Very sturdy fabric
Roomy enough seats for all ages (my 5 year old could still fit in it yet it is not super wide like the BOB where they float around)
Amazingly huge purse holder (Shop away girlfriend!)
1 hand adjustable seat recliner.
I lightly jog with the stroller on jogging paths just fine.”

By:  Hollie Schultz

“IMPORTANT NOTE: The double conversion kit pieces ONLY come with the second seat purchase! If you plan to use a bassinet with the toddler seat, 2 bassinets, infant car seat with toddler seat or 2 infant car seats – you MUST buy the second seat kit! You will need those adapters! At this time, Baby Jogger does not sell the adapters separately without the second seat! Bottom line: If you are going to use the City Select in doubles mode, you have to buy the second seat kit whether you think you are going to use that second seat right away or not. So factor in that expense when considering this stroller!”

By: Hillary Brown

“PROS: VERSITILITY! that’s the beauty of the select! can be single or double
Narrow for double
Tall seats (my 41″ three year old can fit! Hurray!)
HUGE i mean huge basket
Easy one step fold
Window in canopy”

Generally, if you are seeking for a stroller that is intended for going to places like offices, malls, etc., this would be a good choice since it fits standard doorways even if converted to a double stroller. For travelers, this stroller occupies a small space in cars because it folds compactly, so this will work out well for you. Its huge basket space makes it ideal for shoppers and grocery goers. It also endures rough roads, so it is certainly an all-terrain stroller. However, this is not recommended for joggers. Since it can be a heavy stroller, using it for jogging can be difficult. But aside from the jogging part, Baby Jogger City Select does everything else fine.

Baby Jogger 25th Anniversary Performance Single Jogging Stroller

Strollers are one of the most crucial baby products any parent can buy. If you choose a bad one, you will risk your baby’s safety. So in order to make sure you make a good decision, be very well informed before purchasing any stroller. Here is detailed information about the stroller Baby Jogger Performance.

Baby Jogger Company manufactures strollers intended for long strolls and travels. This is why it assures customers with their product durability and convenience. They also offer customers with easy to customize strollers. The company name speaks for itself because the original target of the company are people who wanted to stroll with their babies while they are also spending time jogging or walking. This is why customers expect not just a long lasting stroller, but also an easy to navigate one especially when exposed to rough streets and roads.

Baby Jogger Performance has specially designed handles to avoid strained and tired wrists, it also has wheels that are big enough to allow easy pushing, and to reduce vibrations on the baby’s part, there are shock absorbers on the stroller. Like other Baby Jogger Strollers, it also has a padded seat that can be tilted back. It has a 5-point safety harness to ensure that your baby will be safe, it is adjustable so it would be easy for you to manage. The stroller also has multiple baskets and pockets for compartment.

Here is a list to summarize Baby Jogger Performance’s pros:

  • Strength and durability because it has a solid one piece frame
  • Quick-release wheels that allows less rolling resistance when running
  • Fixed front wheel
  • Direct brake for a faster braking
  • Comfortable seats with pads
  • Padded safety harness
  • Easy folding with quick release latches
  • Backseat compartment and an inside pocket
  • Rear parking brake
  • Weight capacity is 100 lbs.

However, this product also has some cons. Here is a summary:

Baby Jogger Performance can be a little expensive. Considering that it came from a reputed manufacturer that assures standard and product quality, it would be hard to expect a cheap price. Also, as easy as it is to customize Baby Jogger strollers, the accessories needed for customization are sold separately, thus requires extra expenses.

If there is one common customer problem with this stroller it would be the tires. It pops when inflated. But when inflating Baby Jogger Performance, remember that since the rim tapes of the tires can be poor, add rim tapes to each tire before use. Also, to avoid wheel popping, do not over-inflate the wheels. See to it that you just inflate them enough. Baby Jogger customer service is also polite enough to send new tube and tire in case things go wrong.

To deeply supply you with helpful details, here is an actual customer’s’ testimonial:

By Krazz:

This is without a doubt the best stroller made today. The 20′ wheels make it roll so easily that it almost pushes itself. If folds very flat hover it would be nice if it was a little shorter when folded. I did get a flat but it only cost $3 and 5 min to fix.

By Jonathan Dubinski:

“Baby is due next month and my wife and I just received this beautiful stroller in 2 days because of prime membership. It comes with the car seat adapter bar and a rain protector. The stroller opens and closes easily. The only complaint is that when the stroller closes, there is a handle which holds onto a screw. I think it wouldve been better to make this handle grip onto the frame itself. I have tried installing a graco snugride seat onto the included car base adapter. It feels loose until the straps are attached to make the car seat stable. Seems like a lot of work to attach a car seat but its worth it since the stroller is so nice to use. Its very smooth to operate. We plan on keeping this stroller in the car to use when required. Will review again once we use this stroller daily.”

By Kimberly:

“I have never been a fan of umbrella strollers. I would always see those poor moms hunching down and pushing them. I understood that they were light weight, but I did not want the pain in my back after a day of shopping!!! Low and behold, I saw the Maclaren Techno XLR and it was love at first sight. This stroller encompasses all of the features of a travel system with the light weight, easy and comfort of a umbrella stroller. It is like getting the best of both worlds”

BOTTOMLINE:

This stroller is recommended to people who desire to have a lightweight stroller that is perfect for travelling. So far, it does not have any negative feedback online. It might be because it is a new product, or it’s just good enough for everyone who tried it.

By M. Person:

“I’ve had a Triumph for nearly three years and I love this stroller. I travel frequently with just myself and my kids, and nothing folds up as easily and quickly. I also live in an urban area, so I love that I can fold this up and strap it over my shoulder for an unexpected staircase or to get on and off public transportation. I’ve used it in airports, malls, Disneyland, zoos, cities, everywhere. It also fits in any car I’ve ever tried to squeeze it into–even on the floor behind the front seats, for when the trunk is all loaded up for a road trip.

It does have a small basket, but that’s never bothered me because I know that’s a trade-off for having a lightweight, easily compactible stroller. My only complaint (and this may be a factor on all umbrella strollers, but I’ve only used the Maclaren) is that when it folds up, the front wheels rub on the stroller shade and get it all dusty. Not a big problem, but the inside of my shade is black so it shows and always looks dirty. If I had known that before, I simply would have bought a different color stroller with a lighter shade. So I still give it five stars for quality, portability, and usefulness.”

By Christine:

“This is a great stroller. It handles like perfection, is made of very high quality materials, and it is small and light, enabling us to do things we felt obnoxious doing with our huge stroller, like dining out and riding on public transit. We have run all over the city in this and our 5 month old had so much fun and was very comfortable. We will get lots of use out of this little number for a long time.

If I could change two things, it would be the basket and sunshade. The basket is almost inaccessible because it sits high under the seat and is obstructed by the bar. Because of this, we have to use a smaller stroller bag and hang it from the back, which we find we prefer actually. I would also like it if the sunshade had twice the fabric that it currently has, or had an extra flap tucked under the main hood. It offers some protection from the sun, but only from very few angles and at almost no time are baby’s feet protected. That said, we still like it and would purchase it again because of its quality and great ease of use.”

CAUTION: This stroller is not intended as an all terrain stroller, so it would not function well when used on rough roads. There are other brands that’ll function better if you want an all-terrain purposed stroller. Also, a common complaint about this product is its almost useless canopy, since it cannot be adjusted to block the sunlight from all other angles.

However, this is a recommended item for people who want a durable yet lightweight stroller, perfect for public and crowded places. It also fits standard car spaces and it can be easily folded. So it is recommended mostly for people who go to different places downtown and also for those who do a lot of far travelling.
